Original Funnelweb is ideal for boilies, whether whole boilies or shredded boilies. Funnelweb has decisive advantages over a stringer. When it bursts open at the bottom of the lake, the contents are distributed over a much larger area than with a stringer, which only allows the baits to lie in a row. Thanks to the Funnelweb, small, light baits can be fed at greater distances than would be possible with a feeder.

Thanks to the Funnelweb, you can also feed Chum Mixers (dog food which is often used for carp fishing in England) up to a distance of 40 meters. The trick: Simply place a stone in the PVA bag to provide the necessary casting weight. Danny Fairbrass and Frank Warwick once qualified for the final of the British Carp Fishing Championships because they were able to get their feed to even distant fishing spots thanks to the Funnelweb.

Pellets, especially trout, salmon and carp pellets, can also be fed with the Funnelweb. However, they should be dry. But even slightly moist mixes, consisting of groundbait or, for example, the Solar Bag Mix, are no problem for the Funnelweb. Particles such as tigernuts, maples and hemp are also readily absorbed by the Funnelweb - provided the surface of the particles is dry.
