The Heli Safe System is ideal for helicopter setups, regardless of whether you are using a conventional rig or a chod rig.
This system is now available on a pre-tied leader.
These 50cm leaders are made from the new Tight Weave Kable Leadcore and are ready to use straight from the pack.
The 50cm versions are not only perfect for perfectly camouflaging the last meter and protecting fish from line damage during the fight, but are also absolutely perfect for casting long distances.
This type of leader has excellent anti-tangle properties, but is also very safe for fish as it incorporates the Mini Heli Safe System - a more compact version of the original - and ensures that the lead can release whenever it needs to.
It also features our No-Trace safety system, which ensures that the leader can easily detach from the leader in the event of a main line breakage.
In addition, each pack contains two spare No Trace beads (these can also be purchased separately).
The top rubber of the no-trace safety system can be placed close to the lead when fishing over a clean bottom or moved to the other end of the leader when fishing over weed or on mud, especially with chod rigs.
The Mini Heli Safe can be set differently depending on the fishing situation, with the standard spring releasing the lead at minimum pressure and ensuring that it falls off during the fight.
Alternatively, this can be replaced by the red spring (two included).
This spring is ideal for waters that are generally free of weed and obstacles and where you only want to drop the lead if it gets stuck somewhere.
There is also the option of attaching a specially shaped plastic collar (two included), which ensures that the lead is not dropped.
However, the fish can still be released if the main line breaks thanks to the no-trace safety system.
By using a size 11 QC ring swivel, you can change the rig quickly and easily.
A spliced loop at one end facilitates attachment to the main line.
The Kable Heli Safe Leadcore Leaders are available in a choice of Gravel Brown or Weed/Silt colors, two per pack.
