Gamakatsu Specialist R

A great claw hook that hooks more than well with its ultra-thin, sharp point and the eye turned inwards by 15 degrees. Due to the wider opening, this hook stays in place better even under heavy pressure. The inward point also offers great advantages on a "bumpy" bottom; here they generally remain sharper than hooks with a straight point because they are much better protected against stones, for example. The special "flat forged bent shank" gives it extra power and strength. Specialist'R hooks are ideal for river fishing or fishing in waters where more pressure on the fish is required. This is also an ideal hook shape when the fish has a softer mouth, for example at a higher water temperature. The "line alignment" makes the hook strike even faster.
