The Chameleon FX Feeder from the FX series was deliberately designed to be as similar as possible in length and construction to a classic carp rod. This means anglers don’t have to adjust when switching between feeder and carp fishing and can enjoy a familiar casting feel without compromising on comfort.

The rod concept follows the principle of a whip: a short, stiff butt section stabilizes the softer sections of the rod in a wide variety of casting positions. This design ensures an optimal balance between power, control, and comfort—both when casting and during the fight. The result is extremely comfortable casting, greater casting distances, and a high degree of control when landing the fish. With this blank design, Orient Rods also lays the foundation for future, multi-piece feeder rods with variable action and stiffness.
