This traditional hook remover allows the line to run through a recess and be guided directly to the hook. The hook can be safely removed with gentle pressure. For anglers who prefer to have their equipment to hand at all times, there is a hole at the top end of the disgorger through which a lanyard can be pulled.

The Guru Fine Disgorger is specially designed for use with smaller, finer hooks to safely remove them from the fish's mouth, the Medium Disgorger is specially designed for use with larger, thicker hooks and the Double Disgorger is versatile and designed for both hook types: on the narrow side for small, fine wire hooks and on the thicker side for larger, thicker wire hooks.
