The Orient Rods Bombus casting rods set new standards in the world of carp fishing with their innovative design and manufacturing technology. Weighing between 108 and 125 grams, these rods offer an exceptional combination of lightness and strength, ideal for casting boilies accurately over impressive distances of more than 130 meters.
A key feature is the unique Orient Rods design back valve, which increases the speed of the boilie by enlarging the opening at the end of the carbon tube, increasing the air pressure during the cast. Two patents have been granted in Ukraine for this innovative design.
Bombus casting tubes are manufactured using a special thermo-compressive process with vacuum forming. The mold is compressed by heated elements, which enables the production of products with very complex shapes. Carbon fiber material is used for production at a specific angle, filling the entire material volume with threads, and Plain Weave Spread Tow is used. This weave offers the best durability of the composite material.
The strategic placement of the carbon fibers allows for maximum torsion during casting, resulting in the longest possible casting distances. The optimum bending shape of the throw tube was selected after a multitude of tests and now enables the world's longest casts.
