FINALLY! The Heli Safes are here and revolutionize fishing with helicopter and chod rigs!

Helicopter rigs such as the chod rig have become an integral part of modern carp fishing. Helicopter rigs can be presented cleanly on any bottom. Clean, but not safe. This is because the lead is firmly attached to the line. This presents us with a further problem: only very light weights can be used, especially with chod rigs, as otherwise the carp's head could be injured. Because of the extremely short leader, which slips towards the lead during the fight, the fish comes into contact with the weight during the fight. In addition, heavy leads weighing 80 grams or more cause more drop-outs with short, stiff leaders.

Korda's product development team began working intensively on these problems back in spring 2013. With the release of the Heli Safe in spring 2015, we delivered the solution: This inconspicuous part is the lead clip of the helicopter assembly and makes it possible to lose the lead in the drill if necessary. This makes the Heli Safe the answer for all those who want to equip their heli or chod rigs with heavy leads for long casts, who want to drop their rigs by boat or feeder boat, fish in front of obstacles or in dense weed. The Heli Safe also withstands violent casts with heavy leads without any problems. The line pressure during casting and drilling is applied to an extremely stable half swivel inside the safe.

A small plastic clamp can be used to adjust whether the lead is lost or not. The Heli Safe can therefore always remain mounted and can also be used when the lead must not be lost. And if the situation requires it, you can remove the clamp and have an absolutely safe system that releases your lead after the bite. This works via a special spring mechanism.
