The Orient Rods VekTra rod is characterized by a unique feature that is already reflected in its name. Real transformative changes have been made to the technological cycle in the production of the blank. The diameter of the blank has been reduced, while still keeping it robust enough to be considered a carp rod for long distance casting. The wall thickness of the blank was not increased, nor was the modularity of the material increased, nor were guide guides used on multiple wide supports. Instead, the most effective combination of materials and processes was used at various stages of the production process to make the blank stiffer. The way the blank works can be compared to an all-wheel drive (full drive). The load is evenly distributed in the first stage of the cast, the shank and tip are released as synchronously as possible to release the accumulated energy in the second stage of the cast. The stabilization after releasing the load is minimal for such a thin blank.
