The patented blank design (registered in the WIPO Global Design Database DM/090 372) in the shape of a fir tree, made from the highest quality Japanese Toray carbon fiber materials with 55-66msi (40T+46T), represents the pinnacle of current market development. The Bestia is characterized by its light weight, stiffness and a real test curve. To further protect the blank and provide even more strength and rigidity, a special carbon fiber twill finish 3K has been applied, which also serves as a reinforcing layer.
As a final protection, the rod is coated with a high-quality two-component 2K epoxy resin varnish, which not only protects against aggressive weathering, but also gives the rod an attractive three-dimensional appearance. For the components of the Bestia we use only the highest quality, such as the genuine 18mm FUJI DPS reel seat and the latest fully stainless steel, impact resistant S-KL type 50mm guides with SIC inserts. The advantage of these guides is that they allow the use of the latest generations of extremely thin braided and monofilament lines while reducing the likelihood of knotting and overlapping.
Equipped with both the standard Fuji DPS 18mm reel seat and Orient carbon reel seats fitted with original Fuji components, the Bestia offers universal application. The blank acts as a fast action when casting out and as a medium-fast action when landing a fish. The Ultimate series, to which the Bestia also belongs, is powerful and sensitive - ideal for spod and marker rods.
