The advantage over the standard felt discs and Teflon discs is obvious: - The Teflon discs provide faster brake adjustment.
- Advantage of laying out with the boat, because there is no rugging from the brake.
- Teflon disks are inserted dry into the spool, nothing needs to be greased (nor should it) - Frost-resistant down to -270 degrees Celsius, so no more problems for people,
who fish in winter or in adverse conditions.
- Heat resistant up to 260 degrees Celsius- Due to the wax-like surface, the transition from standstill to movement takes place without jerking- No material can stick to Teflon - no water, dirt and the like- Completely overlying disk, thus the maximum of static and dynamic friction with low surface tension- Also available for Baitrunner brake systems
