This is the version of the Super Wide Gape hook with the eye bent outwards, making it perfect for chod, hinged and flurocarbon D-rigs.

The Super Wide Gape was born out of many long discussions with our team anglers and many other very experienced anglers. The idea behind it is to make the hook bend as wide as possible when designing a rig, as this results in more hooked carp. This is why wide gapes are the favorite hook models of many anglers. And we have now designed a hook with an even wider bend than our already hugely popular Wide Gapes and Stiff Rig hooks. Discover the "Super Wide Gape" - a hook with a long curved bend, a super sharp, inwardly curved point and an arc that is wider than any other hook we have ever used before. Tests have shown that this hook works incredibly well on even the simplest rigs. With such a wide bend, the hook point is so exposed that once the carp has sucked in the hook, it can hardly spit it out without being hooked. This means you have to worry much less about your rig mechanics and can concentrate fully on finding the right spot for your rig.
