It was not without reason that the new Korda COG lead system presented the Korda developers with a major challenge - because the aim was to create a completely new type of lead system that can hook just as well as an inline lead, but can be cast at least as well as a regular lead with a lead clip.

The new Korda COG lead systems have exceeded all requirements - completely uncompromising, without any detours.

In this case, COG stands for "Center of Gravity", which perfectly describes the great advantage of this system. The leader is attached to the heaviest point of the lead, which positively increases the hooking properties.

Every modern carp angler who uses the COG lead correctly will definitely turn more bites into full runs, and the rules are as simple as they are effective. Use Korda COG on harder ground with tubing or leadcore. It works perfectly with harder leaders, such as the Korda IQ, Hybrid Stiff or N-Trap Semi Stiff. This avoids tangles even with long casts and the leader is stretched, which further optimizes the hooking effect.
